A turn left in Higayashiyama-Ku, Kyoto, Japan

The Turn Left is

an alternate route, the path untraveled, an invitation to think differently, the space to imagine what could be. We open this space to discuss ideas to create new pathways for harmony between society, the economy, and the environment. Sparked by current events, we hope these ideas will influence better understanding and approaches to policy-making. We have a range of professional backgrounds (social sciences and development) and invite voices from all experiences and perspectives. At The Turn Left, we need equal input from all fields regardless of race, class, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual identity, ableism or any other obstacle to achieve that harmony we envision.
